I have a Jack Russell terrier, just over a year. I live in an apartment complex where many people have dogs. When I'm walking my dog and he spots another dog, he tries to pull me violently in that direction. If the dog is near, my dog lets out shrill cries loud and continues to try to pull me. It is almost impossible to control and bewildered. Other than that it behaves very well for a JRT and he is real smart. Just a little wild in some situations, this being the worst. What can I do so to control this behavior? he 's not a bad way aggressive. He is just curious and want to play I think. But he plays rough with other dogs as the fight around and pinch (ninguĂ?? No attempt to injure). If I leave to check out the other dog, they smell, then light the struggles and the post office to get tangled up.
